Expressive Arts Therapy Programs

The EGS Master’s Program

The EGS Expressive Arts Therapy Master’s Program is a modular system of coursework designed for persons seeking an initial or additional graduate degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. As a module provider for the European Graduate School, Switzerland, we offer a one weekend per month program that will fit around your working schedule. Our weekends consist of all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and are designed to meet the high standards of EGS, and to fully prepare students to apply for the credential of REAT (Registered Expressive Arts Therapist) with IEATA.

EGS Phd Prep

The EGS Ph.D. Program is for those students who already have completed a master’s degree in human services or fine arts. In order to apply to EGS, the student needs to have had some arts based training or may obtain this training through the Institute.

For those who wish to do the Institute Expressive Arts training, the San Diego portion is similar to the master’s level training.

Expressive Arts Therapy Diploma

The Professional Expressive Arts Therapy Diploma is suitable for persons who already possess a master’s degree in a human services field, seeking additional therapeutic skills, and certification. The Expressive Arts Institute, San Diego offers a unique “one weekend per month” training program that fits around your working schedule. Along with your degree, this training fully prepares you to apply for your credential of REAT (Registered Expressive Arts Therapist) with IEATA .

Coaching Certificate

CEU classes don’t have to be dry power points,  online testing or simply a way to fulfill requirements.

The Expressive Arts Institute  provides classes that are useful, heartfelt, experiential and arts-based. Bring the arts to your practice, by taking part in anything from a 2 hour workshop to a two year comprehensive training program.
